Dublin Marriage License Fees and Costs
The fee is $65.00. Cash is accepted, and so are credit and debit cards with a 3% service charge. That puts the card total at about $66.95. Certified Marriage Abstracts cost $2.00 each. These green-paper copies are what you use for name changes at the BMV, Social Security office, banks, and employers.
The court recommends getting at least five copies when you pick up your license. You can also order additional copies later in person, online, or by mail. A minor error correction on the certificate costs $5.00. If you need to amend the application to add a previous marriage that was left off, that costs $35.00 and requires a notary.

What Dublin Residents Need to Bring
Both people need valid photo ID. A driver's license or passport is fine. You also need your Social Security number, though it will not appear on the finished license per ORC 3101.051. Each person states under oath their name, age, birthplace, occupation, and the names of both parents.
If either person was married before, the application must include the names from past marriages, any minor children, and full divorce details including the jurisdiction, date, and case number. A certified copy of the most recent divorce decree is required. Widowed applicants need a death certificate. All of this is mandated by ORC 3101.05. Making false statements on the application is a crime under ORC 2921.13.
